“Clean (purge)” literally means remove impurities and other unnecessary substances for the purpose of one’s purity. Additionally, in western literary tradition, “Clean” has both medical and religious implications, which can be seen as a purification ceremony that against impurity (e.g., baptize). The work “Clean” shows a continuous process that bush writes on canvas and fades away.  As time goes by, the mark that leaves on canvas is reduced and increased at the same time. Such image implicates that the ‘fading’ and the ‘coming’ are drawing a new image together and eventually this image will also fade away.
